a slow news day

As there is a little less news to report than on some other days, I am going to explain our morning routine…

1. Wake up to 'Party in the USA', Miley Cyrus (I know embarrassing but it’s so appropriate and we have it every morning)

2. Get dragged out of bed by dad (usually only applies to me)

3. Get Brecky (weet-bix or toast, and sometimes bacon and eggs, depending on if we have a power hook up)

4. Depending on water availability either shower, bath or wash (plus morning ablutions)

5. Get Dressed (as time goes on warmer and warmer clothes are needed)

6. Make Beds (I let the others do all work J)

7. Jacks up (a tool that levels the R.V)

8. Slide in (clear path way)

9. Get Rolling (kinda obvious)

10. Here you see what may be a typical evening scene - someone updating blogs/journals, someone getting some dinner ready, and the olds taking it easy (as always).

Each day when we exit the R.V to go see the signts we take the camera and Bob who has to always come with us! (unless he sleeps in like Graceland… lazy thing)

I (& especially Dad!) would like to thank Uncle Paul for putting in an extra power cord and adapter, because it came in handy last night but more about that later… and also for putting in 3 water hoses otherwise the tap would not have reached the R.V when we filled up today!

Also thanks heaps to Aunty Jo for all the arts & crafts, books and all the good stuff. We have been using all of it, Amy has almost read every book in the place - thanks, you're awesome!

Well after doing our morning routine today we headed out to Sudbury 50km (tomorrow back to US of A & back to miles... so confusing) where we stopped at a Wal-mart (kinda like the warehouse) for some supplies - it seemed like we spent an hour sitting in roadworks! After fluffing we got underway again to see more of the great lakes - driving and stuff isn’t that interesting so I won’t go on. The scenery was wonderful however, seeing all the rocks, lakes and rivers! Dad reckoned parts of it reminded him of East Cape. There were a number of native settlements that reminded us of similar places back home as above. That night, as I was saying before, we stopped at the Lauzon Creek resort. Most campsites are closed over winter. So it’s been quite hard finding one however as no-one else is about, we got a site right in front of the lake! There was no power but we asked the man nicely and he gave us his intention cord but it was not long enough, that’s when Uncle Paul came in handy!

So all up, mileage for the day was lower than ideal but not every day is going to be perfect.
