300 miles, 3 states

Not the most interesting day of our entire holiday so far. The day started in Talladega and ended in Memphis (in fact we're currently in an RV park right next door to where Elvis lived!).

It probably won't be a record however it is the record so far - 3 states in a day, first Alabama, then Mississippi, now Tennesee. 300 miles in the RV didn't seem too bad, we all updated our journals, I wrote a couple of blogs, and we could read or walk around and chat etc. We got lost for the first time, passing through Birmingham Alabama and trying to find the road that would take us to Memphis. I don't imagine it will be the last time we get lost!

We also made our first visit to Walmart for groceries and other supplies - it reminds you of the Warehouse Extra at Sylvia Park except about 2-3 times the size! The weather has been awesome the last couple of days - really fine & warm and we've all been in shorts & t-shirts... however Dad says we should make the most of it because it won't last! We even cooked dinner on the grill last night (American for bbq).

There is some seriously cool stuff to see in Memphis - will tell you all about it tomorrow... bye for now :)
