Sorry you haven’t heard from us in a while – there hasn’t been any internet connection where we’ve been!
For the first time in our lives we finally got to do trick or treating/halloween… it was so cool we and our cousins all dressed up and tried to look as scary as possible (with wigs and plenty of dark makeup). There seemed to be an inconsistency between supply & demand… i.e. there was far more candy than trick or treaters (so heaps good loot!!!) and of course we remembered to use our best manners. You see because at the time we were in
And I can tell you… you have never seen so many campsites in all your life! Between the main road and our spot, there were campers as far as the eye could see. And just around the corner, there was yet another sea of campsites. It was different from NZ – there were very few tents, just heaps of motorhomes (like ours but mostly bigger) and 5th wheelers which look like a big caravan towed, but by a ute (which is always much bigger than our utes and is called a truck!). You cannot describe just how many camp sites there were!
Tomorrow is the car racing and judging by the number of RV’s, I’d say there will be a massive crowd – Dad says the circuit holds around 175000 people!
Thanks for the update - sorry I missed you on Skype. Do you have an itinerary for us please and also an e-mail address?

Hi guys! Great to see what you have been up to already. Sounds like you are having an awesome time! Your motorhome looks amazing!
ReplyDeleteGonzo is fine. Olivia is doing a good job looking after him. Charlie really likes hanging out with him. We are keeping a good eye on him though!
Thomas has to have his cast on for another 4 weeks!!!! He's ok but we all are avoiding having playfights with him. Too painful getting bashed with his cast! He is doing a lot more reading than normal!
Samuel says, 'Hi - I hope you have a nice time there'.
The light party was awesome. A little bit different from last year. Really fun. We took two families from our street and they loved it. You guys looked so scary in your costumes!
Looking forward to your next update. You are doing a great job Deanna. :-)
